Position: Maintenance Associate & Office Assistant
Victoria RV & Boat Storage is seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Associate to join our friendly team.
Located in the heart of beautiful Rancho Cucamonga, Victoria RV & Boat Storage is a family owned and operated business. Its brand-new facility offers state-of-the-art customer service, as well as a detail oriented and friendly Management Team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greet and Welcome Customers in-person and over the phone
- Work independently both inside the office and on the storage grounds
- Show and rent storage units
- Perform cleaning and maintenance, including: keeping surface and high-touch areas clean, power washing, picking up trash, sweeping, using the blower, office cleaning, mopping outdoor/indoor spaces and vacant units, landscaping, etc.
- Conduct daily inspections of facility
- Report for facility damage and repairs
- Conduct daily lock check, and patrol storage grounds
- Assist customers with repairs to units
- Take pride in wearing required company uniform
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is detail-orientated, passionate about customer service, and is looking to join a welcoming, family business. This candidate enjoys operating in a clean, safe and friendly environment. Someone who has previous experience working in a storage facility is a plus, or possesses maintenance and handyman skills, would be helpful, including: sprinkler work, gate systems, garage doors, etc.
Requirements:
- The ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Likes to be active and enjoys working outdoors.
- Is able to work on the weekends

Daily Procedure List
- Turn on Camera Monitors
- Open front walk gate
- Open Blinds
- Turn on Lights
- Turn on Coffee Marker (re stock coffee stand)
- Review & clear users in StorLogix
- Open Site-Link and click on “Process Start-of-Day Letters and Reports” once printed click on “perform the Start-of-Day Gate Update – Process any Auto bills (1st-10th)
- Open garage, pull out gator wipe down (if needed)
- Daily walk for damaged units
- Patrol (check for oil leaks, loose items), check property (front, back, behind H/N bldgs., in between rows), pick up big trash sweep grounds, report any new damage, check locks, clean up wash bay if needed
- Mail out any notices (late 11th, pre-liens 20th) E-mail on the 5th (gate lock out, 10th late fee warning)
- File/input paperwork
- Update reg & ins
- Check mail
- Count cash drawer
- Close gates
- Clean office, floors, bathroom, counter tops, trash, coffee/sitting areas, windows, doors
- Daily close 5:45 print, input, print, file
- Close blinds
- Set alarm
- Lock office door
Weekly procedures
- Wash outside doors (one row a week depending on season/ dirtiness)
- Dust mini storage (one row a week depending on season/ dirtiness)
- Clean up spider webs
- Sweep & Mop office
- Clean office windows (in & out)
- Maintain air compressor
- Clean trash from bushes
- Go between rv’s and clean up trash, clean spider webs, put tire covers back on, look for leaks
- Clean key pads
- Clean up dump area
- Write down all phone calls (if want waiting list put in sitelink)
- Clean units as they become vacant and put blue lock on latch
